INVESTMENTS TRAINEE

INVESTMENTS TRAINEE

Salary : £16,000 initially, rising to £20,000 after 12 months (subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period and training and development programme).

We are looking to expand and develop the Investment Team and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee to join the Team. As a Trainee you will gain an understanding of the financial markets and the systems and processes associated with the Business as well as learning and understanding the products and services we provide to our clients.

We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and outstandingindividualwho wants an opportunity to build a career in financial services and within the Investment field in particular. You will beself-motivated, a team player with strong communication skills, and analytical and numeracy abilities as well as being able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.

A full training, development and qualification programme will be provided with excellent career prospects available.

Start date : - to be agreed.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Educated to degree level
  • Desirable

  • Knowledge/experience of the financial services environment.
  • Knowledge/experience of Investments

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Essential

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and professional connections – both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work within level of authority and to refer work when appropriate

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to create and maintain accurate paper and computer based records

  • Flexible and adaptable – strong team player.

Desirable

  • IT / keyboard skills

  • Good, broad, knowledge of financial services in general
